The Advanced Materials, Manufacturing, and Testing Information Analysis Center (AMMTIAC) is a US Department of Defense Technical Information Centers. AMMTIAC was created in 2005 and merged the Nondestructive Testing Information Analysis Center (NTIAC) with several information analysis centers. The website provides a library database where searches can be conducted for NDT related articles.
NDT Newsgroups
Nondestructive Testing Newsgroup. A newsgroup dedicated to the exchange of information and discussion of issues relating to nondestructive testing of materials and structures.
NDT Terminology
The NDT.net site provides an NDT encyclopedia with an extensive list of terms.
Specification Information
ASTM International is a not-for-profit organization that provides a global forum for the development and publication of voluntary consensus standards for materials, products, systems, and services.
This link leads to the SAE Standards page on the Society of Automotive Engineers Web site. SAE Standards covering NDT methods are often used when designing, building, maintaining, and operating self-propelled vehicles for use on land or sea, in air or space.
The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) is a private, nonprofit organization that administers and coordinates the U.S. voluntary standardization and conformity assessment system.
The Department of Defense Single Stock Point for Military Specifications, Standards and Related Publications (DODSSP) controls, and provides access to the extensive collection of Military Specifications, Standards, and related standardization documents either prepared by or adopted by the DoD.

The Cambridge Dictionaries Online has an online dictionary activities and other information for language researchers.

eFunda is an online publisher for original engineering content and software. As well as marketing products, the site also provides quite a lot of free information on engineering fundamentals. There are special sections that provide information on Materials, Unit Conversion, Formulas, Mathematics, and other topics.
